Online Two Days Technical programme - Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing

img

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized Online Two Days Technical programme On “Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing” in association/collaboration with TUV SUD South Asia Pvt. Ltd.

Spoke person Prof. S.K.Arora discussed the need of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing in manufacturing industries. The need for accuracy in part design and manufacture is greater now than ever before. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a precise language of engineering symbols that clearly communicate the design intent of the part. The GD&T methodology is currently used in Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Aviation and several other industries.

After completion of the training programme, an online assessment of the faculty was carried out by the TUV SUD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. and those faculties who have cleared the online assessment get certified. Now the faculty who have attended this programme will capable enough to make the student familiar with this field.
