Outcome: It has been very fruitful visit. All members of visiting team have seen working of various solar energy harvesting equipments. Further collaborative research opportunities were discussed with official from NISE. Offline practical short term courses will be provided to students.

Rahul Pachauri (Project Scientist NISE) to the several ongoing industrial and government funded projects and learnt the new technologies implemented in the field of renewable energy. One-day Academic/Research Visit (24/11/21) on

“INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS AND FACULTY TO NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SOLAR ENERGY GURUGRAM”

Department of Mechanical Engineering, IET, GLA University, Mathura in association/collaboration with
National Institute of Solar Energy Gurugram.

Outcome: All members of visiting team have seen working of various solar energy harvesting equipments. Further collaborative research opportunities were discussed with official from NISE. Once Covid pandemic will be over, offline practical short term courses will be provided to students either free of cost or at nominal prices. This activity was a part of MoU signed between GLA University Mathura and National Institute of Solar Energy Gurugram. Students Research Schlar and Faculty members were part of the team that visited for one day Institutional visit. It was aimed to have live and practical experience of solar energy absorbing utility equipments and systems.
